2nd Saturday Art Night![]() In June 2014 2nd Saturday Art Night came under the umbrella of the Sonora Chamber of Commerce. The Sonora Chamber serves as the fiscal sponsor for 2nd Saturday Art Night in order to provide fund raising support.
Spend a leisurely evening in Historic Downtown Sonora filled with entertainment and excitement. Enjoy an evening of strolling, viewing, sipping, and dining every 2nd Saturday from 5 to 8 pm. Art galleries, live music, live theatre, friendly eateries, distinctive shops... a lovely way to spend an early evening in Historic Downtown Sonora. Summer Concerts in Coffill Park![]() The Summer Concerts presented by the Sonora Chamber of Commerce are from 8p.m to 10pm on Second Saturday June through October. After enjoying Second Saturday.....come on down to Coffill Park and dance the night away with our FREE Summer Concert series.
Friday Flix Movie Night![]() You may have seen these movies....but not like this!!
These interactive movie experiences are presented by the Sonora Chamber of Commerce monthly at the Sonora Opera Hall January through May. The doors open at 6:00 pm. There will be a costume contest at 6:30 with a prize for the winners. The audience will be the judges. We read the answers to our movie quiz at 6:45 and the movie starts @ 7:00. Your $5 admission includes free popcorn and there is a no host bar serving the usual and the unusual. Please feel free to bring a chair or you are welcome to use one of ours.. January 11: Willie Wonka February 8: Grease March 15: Ghostbusters April 19: Young Frankenstein May 17: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Shine Up Downtown Sonora (SUDS)![]() We continue to support SUDS with our Community Partner, WATCH Resources of Tuolumne County, keeping downtown Sonora clean and tidy. The program costs $850 a month to sustain. WATCH Resources offers an opportunity to disabled adults to contribute to their Community by being valuable, productive and self-supporting individuals.

Sonora Magazine![]() The Sonora Magazine is published for the Sonora Chamber of Commerce by the Union Democrat. Previously known as Explore Sonora, the new format will focus on local events and attractions that keep tourists and locals returning to our beautiful foothill community.
Sonora Magazine will publish 5,000 copies twice each year as Summer/Fall edition and a Winter/Spring edition to be delivered to popular tourist destinations and local homes. The magazine will be featured on the Sonora Chamber of Commerce website and free to the public digital version on the Union Democrat website. Sonora Young Professionals![]() Sonora Young Professionals (SYP) is a program of the Sonora Chamber of Commerce. The goal is to unite like-minded young professionals in Tuolumne County and the surrounding areas to empower them and connect with the community.
