Founded in April 2011, Funky Junk began in its original location, in a space of 1200 square feet. Today the store that, manager, Andrea Jones calls an “eclectic mix of you name-its” has expanded to over 7000 square feet downtown and located in the historic Mundorf Building. New and consigned clothing, boots, furniture, gifts, and home decor makes the business on the most unique in town. New brands featured include Pendleton, Cowgirl Tuff, American West, Paamita, Lane Boots, and many more. The shop has men and women’s clothing ranging from western wear to items fit for a yogi lifestyle. If you’re on the search for a shirt to commemorate your trip to Sonora, look no further as Funky Junk will have one for you. Some of the more eclectic items include consigned vintage magazine and photographs, Funky Junk brand stringed lights made with recycled shotgun shells, and locally made bath and body products. Every visit reveals a discovery. The shop defies any ‘typical’ description of the extraordinary things you might find there. Certainly a place that requires more than just a casual visit. Funky Junk
