WATCH provides housing, vocational, educational, recreational and transportation services to adults with developmental disabilities.
WATCH is accredited by CARF (The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission) and is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services.
WATCH has been providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities for over 39 years. We currently serve over 185 adults with special needs in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
Our services include: Work training programs which include landscaping, janitorial services, and bulk mailing service. Small supervised crews do a variety of jobs in the community. Everyone is paid a wage. Participants in Visions learn computer skill, self advocacy and do volunteer
work in the community. HI-GEAR is the community based arts and recreation program which takes place after work hours and on weekends. Participants attend major league baseball games, bowling, trips to the mall, overnight adventures to major theme parks, monthly community dances, karaoke, dinners out, and so much more. A chance to have fun, fun, fun!
